When I first saw this thumbnail I thought it was definately a photoshopped picture if not a painting. Open it up to see it's a photograph with some great lines and colors.

SLO ART CENTER 6PM SATURDAY 4/30

I've been following Vision Aerie's Work on Flickr.com for quite a while. Very amazing and beautiful visuals taken from the sky. This is the first color work I've seen of his, it looks like a painting it's so amazing. Simply beautiful.

Spring is on it's way, and with it comes all the beautiful colors sprouting from the grey and brown winter ground. A little photoshop-ing just enhances the idea. Nothing like a nice bright flower surrounded by grey to cheer ones day up.

Sometimes when I travel, my eyes lose focus and my thoughts and path meander. Vision, along with time, blur to become indistinct ideas -- seperate from my mind. The world around me becomes an abstract extension of myself, I wonder if I flex this muscle will that car turn, if I wink does a light go out somewhere?

When I first saw this picture on flickr I almost thought GF had uploaded a picture of Isabella to flickr. It looks so much like our cat it's not even funny...even the description about falling asleep while trying to pet or play with the cat is just how Izzy acts.

The eye is an amazing focus of artistic inspiration for me. Not sure if it's because most of my art is visual in nature so it all ends at the eye, so I'm enthralled with it as a destination or if I feel it has more to do w/ it being the beginning of the process. For what I see w/ my eye is processed and perceived in a way to output my art, an abstraction of all I've seen.

Another great photo full of texture and amazing, yet subtle changes in color. I could spend a better part of the day slowly sliding over this photo zoomed in looking at all the different changes.

The lines and texture in this photo is just amazing, and the colors alone are just beautiful and breathe taking.

Wow, just beautiful reminds me I need to upload a few flower pictures myself. I personally can't stand plants and flowers, simply because I have a bad habit of killing them, or as of late, Isabella trying to kill them. I love taking pictures of plants and flowers. Some of the most beautiful subjects out there to photograph, humans still being the most beautiful. I find it so hard to capture the spirit of a person though, w/ a plant it's much easier, maybe because they don't move?
